I-fraud became a stand alone business unit in 1998 of CARDnet® Corporation that was incorporated in 1988 to provide a comprehensive suite of payment processing solutions, integration services and global consulting. CARDnet helps power the global economy serving merchant locations, card issuers and consumers on six continents. As a direct result of major global internet fraud and identity theft expansion we developed i-fraud to deal exclusively for a select group of private clients.

Our focus at CARDnet is virtually any form of payment: credit, debit, smart card, stored-value card or check at the point-of-sale and over the Internet. Upon becoming involved within the fraud and abuse arena, our expertise generally expanded and we developed a new and complete e-commerce solution for small to midsize businesses affected by e-commerce fraud and credit card processing fraud on a global basis. These developed human capital skills made i-fraud a logical business unit to expand to the level of private consumers as well, thus, we now successfully deal with both the victim merchant side as well as the victim consumer side. Clearly both groups are unique and also different.

With over a decade of experience globally within the above arena, we have developed unique capabilities within our stand-alone unit which consists of a complete problem resolution section totally directed to identity theft for our private clients. We deal effectively within the Regulatory and Law Enforcement community.
